The primary goal of this book is to clear up many common misconceptions about Islam while also shedding new light on all three of the Abrahamic faiths (i.e., Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). Indeed, all three of these modern-day religions come from the same root, namely, the faith that Prophet Abraham and all of his progeny followed (may peace be upon them).
Throughout the book I will provide links to certain subjects of thought. The content is neither meant to offend nor force my spiritual views on anyone. It simply represents some of the knowledge that I've gained throughout my spiritual search for the truth. The following evidence is from what I have meticulously researched and analyzed in the Tanakh, Old Testament, New Testament, and the Qur'an.
In the spirit of goodwill and brotherly love, I will ask everyone that is earnest in their search for truth to read the material with an open mind and heart. Please set aside all stereotypes that you may have heard and rest assured that my intentions are not to disrespect anyone's faith or hurt anyone's feelings.
If you find yourself becoming upset as you read, try to delve deeper and understand why. Is it because you feel I'm being dishonest in my presentation or is it because what I've pointed out has much truth to it? Let us now use the logic and reasoning faculties of our mind to investigate the truth.
Indeed, from the following passages of the Qur'an, Tanakh, and Bible, it is clear that God encourages the use of reason.
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."- Old Testament (Tanakh) (Isaiah 1:18)
"Say: "O People of the Book (Christians and Jews)! Come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but God ; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than God." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to God's Will).” - Qur’an English Translation [3:64]
"...and nearest among them (men) in love to the believers wilt you find those who say 'we are Christians': because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. And when they listen to the revelation received by the messenger, you wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears for they recognize the truth: They pray: 'Our lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses'." - Qur’an English Translation [5:82-83]
"And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time." – Qur’an English Translation [23:52-54]
